Theme: “Masterpiece” Ephesians 2:10 Faith lived creatively through culture and craft.
This 5 yearly celebration of the Baptist Women of the Pacific will be focused on embracing the craft practices of our culture which are associated with women, as an expression of our faith. The unique art of our cultures are a reflection of the creativity created within us as women made in the image of God. These crafts can be tools in the of God for worship, fellowship, healing, evangelism, and so much more. So join us as we celebrate, explore, learn from one another’s cultural craft practices.

Programme: Friday night will be a Cultural celebration night. Attendees will be invited to contribute to a night of dance, worship and song unique to their culture. Saturday will be a full day of worship, sharing time, messages from the Word and workshops from those who use art and craft as a tool for the Gospel. More details to follow in early 2025.
Flights: Attendees will be responsbile for their own flight arrangements.
Accommodation: Attendees will be responsible for their own accommodation. We recommend going to your preferred accommodation website such as Booking.com or Airbnb. The conference is only 6.5km from the Convention centre, the site for the Baptist World Alliance Women’s Summit and BWA Congress and km from Brisbane CBD. Brisbane offers a range of accommodation in a range of budgets.
Transport: Attendees are responsible for their own transport. Brisbane has a public transport system.

Extra Events: It’s going to be even more awesome because our conference will run into the Baptist World Alliance Women Global Summit https://bwabrisbane.com/womens-summit/ and the Baptist World Alliance Congress https://bwabrisbane.com/. These two events only happen every five years and only once in every 25 years in the Asia-Pacific region. As this is an incredible opportunity for our Pacific sisters we will run our conference only days before these events so you get the most out of travelling to Brisbane.
